Sailing – Coaching Career / Experience

Very experienced junior sail coach specialized in the management of athletes starting from a young age on a variety of junior dinghies.

Recognized as one of the top experts in junior dinghy coaching worldwide, not only for my 20 years’ experience but especially because of the consistency of international achievements obtained throughout the years and in different classes. My expertise spans from the very competitive Optimist to 420s, Laser and, more recently, to the RS Feva class, in which I have been the only non-English coach to achieve internationally relevant results.

I have coached athletes who have won several world and European Championships and are now distinguished sailors within the international sailing community.

In my career I also contributed to the development of sailing in Italy and throughout the world by collaborating with many clubs and Federations. During shorter periods with small federations such as San Marino and Antigua I was able to bring great improvements in terms of results as well as in management boosting the growth of these second-tier countries in the sailing world.

Experience / Career as a Company Manager

In recent years my great passion for sailing and my management skills made me enter the business world as a dealer of prestigious sailboat brands: I am the owner and manager of the company BoatTech that imports from the U.K. high-performance sailboats of the brand LDC Racing Sailboats. We also deal with the world-known sail maker Hyde Sails.

I deal only with sailboats that are highly resistant and safe and give high performances, because these are also the most important requirements of the sailboats I personally use.

I can be a successful sailing coach and company manager at the same time, since I have very capable and reliable collaborators.
